Nexon - Millions of haters since maplestory

I never played maplestory other than the first 5 minutes when my sis asked me to play. It sucked and I quit. Then years later a friend asked me to play. I played for 5 mins then quit again. It was a bad game it was a terrible game and it was boring. How did it get so huge? I don't know I guess people like those endless poke games where you grind endlessly. Theres no quests theres no nothing. It was a piece of shit.

What does Nexon have to do with it? Well from what I hear Nexon got rich off of that game and decided to purchase and managed a bunch of games. They ran those games to the ground with their shitty customer support and don't give a fuck attitude. Yet people keep going back and handing them money. Nexon are greedy fuckers who care more about their cash shop than running a good game. Because why bother? Every retard goes "oh cool a mount in a box! with a 2% chance of dropping and 10 bucks to purchase a gamble box!?" Then scream on the forums they spent 300 bucks and didn't get a mount from the mount box. Are you fucking retarded? If you stop paying for that stupid shit then they would change it. Its people like this that are ruining the free to play games. Some people are rich, and they don't give a shit and is willing to shell out big dollars to get ahead or look pretty.

Then Nexon makes events for their games where you have to purchase cash shop items to participate. Isn't that nice? Let only 20% of the population enjoy events while the other 80% can't do shit. Sure they can buy with ingame money from the rich fuckers who bought them with real money but every time we do that Nexon gets a little richer. Why can't they make event where we don't need to do this shit? In Maplestory, once you reach a certain level, the quest tells you to go to the cash shop and buy an item to continue or you can't level up more. Free to play my ass. They need to have a way to get money I know that but there are better ways. Lets take a look at some other free to play games I played. LoL, HoN, BLC, all have a cash shop to buy alternate costumes and unlocking other stuff for hereoes. Champions Online you have to pay a monthly fee to enjoy the game as well. But at least most of the game is free for you to play. Mostly.

Their newest game is Dragon Nest. Now this game is like a ticking time bomb waiting to blow. Open beta first started three weeks ago. Since then the community has spiraled out of control. I was one of those that went, "fuck we shouldn't bitch its in open beta they'll listen and fix shit." No, I was wrong. They don't give a shit. The forums were drowned out by whine posts and Nexon barely spoke one word on their forum except randomly silent locking or posts promising stuff when Beta is over. Well, guess what? They extended the beta now its hanging in limbo because according to Nexon "We haven't finished translating." Really now? PvP takes that long to translate eh? So what do they do, they give the population a new dungeon that you can run seven times a week, and severly nerfed the drops to around 1% of what Korean, Japanese, Chinese versions are. People went crazy. They also nerfed dungeon drops. Then they finally admitted to nerfing the drops when all the evidence piled up going "We don't want people getting geared so fast." They are expecting a dungeon that we can do in ten minutes to keep us busy for a month?

The best part is its not even beta anymore. Its release already. They just say its indefinite beta because they promised pvp, arena, and extended level cap. But there was no content, you can fly through the game in 3 days. Then what do you do? Grind gear for the rest of the month? Its pathetic how little content there is.

Just to add salt to our wounds, they opened a cash shop to let people buy stuff. What do they sell? Inventory space of course! They severely reduced the bag space from the other versions and expect us to pay 15 bucks for every bag. Then started selling skill reset scrolls for 20 bucks for everyone that messed up their build! Really? 20 fucking bucks? Like no one at Nexon thought that was overpriced? Guess rich little shits would buy them and in the next game Nexon would put them up for 50 bucks each.

The worst part about Nexon is its lack of customer support. Tickets are left unanswered for months at a time. These guys will copy paste generic responses. I know they got the money to hire GMs. They're earning a lot from their cash shop. GMs are complete douchbags who go "Yeah we can't do anything, maybe if you used the cash shop more we'd have a money trail to help us find the hacker." Then there was the corrupt GM scandal where GMs started hacking players. It took a long time and some other legit GMs to find out what the hell was going on. On the forums is the same retarded and clueless CMs. These CMs are shared among games and they will go from forum to forum posting about things. They average about one post every 2-3 weeks and the rest of the time the forums go unmoderated. People spam random stuff even porn sites that stay up for days until it was finally locked and deleted.

The SEA version is coming out soon, most of the population is willing to put up with the lag to move over there to play that version. What would you do next Nexon? The ball is in your court.
